Clarification....
As you may be aware there has been much confusion in the marketplace with the numerous code changes and implementation dates for 2009 and 2010.
As it stands now the (Wisconsin) Tamper resistant receptacle requirements have been added back into the Comm. 16 building code but the implementation date has been moved back to January 2010.
The second change which most of the electrical community may not be aware of is the implementation of the outdoor receptacle requirement. This change pertains to all receptacles installed in a wet or damp location must be listed as weather resistant. The change takes effect January 2009 .
Hutt Electric is stocking both the 15a and 20a Tamper/Weather resistant GFCI which will meet these requirements.
